[Busmanagers] Filing of records

I have used started using the box files at a number of schools that I
have relieved at and they are great - we number them on the front and
they are so easy to go through and pull out any queries.  Give it a go.

We do the same as Bev, except we file the cheque vouchers, with orders
and invoices attached, in cheque number order, 1 file for every month.
I DO like the idea of box files, though.  We may give it a go.

We file all Batches in a lever arch file in numerical order.

 

Invoices are attached to vouchers and these are filed in cheque
numerical order in box files rather than lever arch files as this makes
it easier to take them out in case of queries.

My A/R and A/P would like to hear of some different ways to file
invoices and vouchers.

 

We have a mix of DD and cheque payments.  It seems to me that the Batch
is the common reference and would be the way to go.  Invoices etc filed
alphabetically behind a batch.

 

Any ideas?
