Hi to all,
Thanks for all the useful tips from this service.
Only items that are moved around need to be tagged and tested annually.
Fixed items such as fridges etc. are a 5 year check.
Regards
Rose

Subject: [Busmanagers] Electrical tagging
Hi everyone,
We currently have electrical testing and tagging done once a year, but
I'm aware that there are some items (eg. computers) which only need to
be done every 5 years and I believe other items that need to be done
more frequently than once a year. There's also the problem of items
being purchased in the course of the year that I understand are supposed
to be tested and tagged as well even though they are brand new.
How frequently do other schools get tagging done and how do you deal
with the new purchases?
Regards,
Ingrid Tiltman
