A couple of weeks ago I put up a message to see if anyone else had a
problem with opening balances appearing on the GL21115 report

 

Thank you to those who responded.

 

For your information I am forwarding the response I received from the
Call Centre which answers this query.

 

Investigating this call confirmed that report GL21115_ Sub Program
Account Transaction Report is incorrect - bug identified. It is picking
up transactions from the previous year (transactions that have not been
reconciled or included in a current BAS) which should be there following
EOY, but should not be included in this report. Unfortunately reports
GL21114 & GL21116 are affected in the same way. One of our developers
made the required change to the sql of the reports and I asked Angela to
verify the formats and rerun the reports - all returned a zero opening
balance. What we will do now is to make the change and officially
release the updated formats to all schools in a future update. Your
school will already have the updated formats which will not be affected
when the updated ones are eventually released.
