[Busmanagers] Do we have a choice in Telephone providers?

Hi Suzie
I was also contacted by Optus earlier this week. It appears they have
entered into an agreement with DE&T and everyone is changing over -
depending on whether you are in group 1 or group 2. I think group 1
must already have changed over. We are part of group 2 and they were
chasing us because we hadn't responded to an email sent to principals
(circular 177/2005). Optus used the word "mandatory" - looks like we
don't have a choice.
We faxed our information yesterday - so looks like we are changing.
Don't know when it comes into effect though - and doesn't include
mobiles.

Good Morning All
Just a quick question regarding telephone providers.
Do we have a choice in which company we have eg: Telstra/Optus?
I have had a couple of phone calls from Optus this morning (of which I
haven't taken yet!) and am quiet happy with Telstra but need
confirmation on the above.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
