Sharyn,

>From my perspective, the School Year model (we felt specifically
relevant for Integration Aides) will limit our staffing flexibility - ie
allowing Integration Aides to transfer to other SSO roles, or to work in
combined roles ie integration and library. We have no formal decision by
the school committee at this stage, but my recommendation is to leave
them as they are.

Subject: [Busmanagers] SSO Agreement & School Year Model

Good Morning Everyone,

As you are aware I am working in town on the HRMS Upgrade Project and
the discussion of 48/52 versus the "School Year Model" for SSO"S in the
new agreement is being looked at for Leave purposes. I would appreciate
your feedback on whether your school is considering having their 48/52
SSO reverting to the School Year model as per the agreement or leaving
them as they are. As I am in town today and it would be great if you
could respond today.

Look forward to hearing from you.
