Hi Liz

They at least need to get their Resume on line, wait overnight and then
you can search for them and attach them to the job. It does not matter
if this happens after the closing date. Depending on their IT skills I
sometimes find it quicker to put them on myself. They need an email
address as when they register as a new user on Recruitment site it sends
them a code so they can log in to the Resume area. If they don't have
email they either set up Hotmail or your IT person may be able to set up
a mailbox for them. Hope this helps.

How do you attach them to the Job Requisition's - we had someone who
gave us a hard copy after not being able to get online and she got the
position?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Vikki

Applicants are still allowed to submit their applications the old way.
They will need to be informed to put their resume on line if they are
the successful candidate. As to where it is written, I remember it being
in a circular or HRMS update at some stage.

It's just as well or we would never find any staff to fill vacancies. We
had a position on line and received one application. When we advertised
in the newspaper we were inundated.

Can someone - anyone, please give me a definitive answer regarding
accepting job applications from applicants NOT using Recruitment On
Line.  Can we accept "over the counter" applications - or MUST we only
accept applicants who have done the right thing and applied on line.  

 

Where is it written also!

 

I have tried to ring the help desk and no wants to answer me.
