Hi Jane,

Our foster families organise the costs for books, requisites,
excursions, swimming, camps etc to be paid for by the agency that
organised the foster care placement, taking into account any EMA the
foster parent receive for the child.

We have just enrolled a family with a foster child and I have sent them
an account for the proportioned amount of the Materials and Services
charge.  They have just called to say that they don't pay anything for a
foster child, is this correct.  

I thought that foster families were subsidised for the child's
education.  Any information would be appreciated.
