SSO WEEK,
In the past years I have arranged the following activities for SSO Week.

We have 22 non-teaching staff, I also include the VPS staff in the activities.

1st year - Photos of staff in the Staff Bulletin, spread over the week e.g.
1 day the admin staff, next library, next integration etc. with name & role etc
2nd Year - competition - Who am I. Ask SSO questions about themselves and
Teaching staff had to guess, rewarded with small box of chocolates (great
incentive) Example of questions, who trained as a pilot, who was a
champion rollerskater, who is related to Dianne Cilento etc. etc. Made it
interesting to find out. Published a new Who Am I each day in Staff
Bulletin during the week.
3rd year - Photos again
4th Year - Invitiation by teaching staff to have a SSO join them in their
class. Last year I assisted in a Year 9 Maths class & helped Year 11 bake
bread. It was very successful. SSO staff also invited a teacher to visit
them in their environment.

The Principal also puts on a morning tea and I also arranged a Dinner for
the SSO staff. Last year all the SSO staff came dressed in purple for the
morning tea.

I & the Principal also put something in the Newsletter.

I hope this gives you some ideas.
