Hi Raelene
If it was me I would untick the transaction on the bank rec. This would
show on the bank rec report as the transfer not yet showing on the bank
statement and you can easily explain that to Council. You would still
balance and then when you reconcile August you can tick it off then.

Subject: [Busmanagers] CASES21 Finance - Bank Reconciliation Problem
Hi All
I have a small problem with my bank reconciilation. During July I
needed to transfer a small amount of money from the HYIA to the Official
account. I entered the transfer onto CASES21, however you know how it
is with interruptions, I forgot to physically transfer the funds.
Therefore on the bank rec. it has automatically ticked off, however on
the bank statements nothing has happened.
I have rung the call centre 3 times about this and I am still waiting to
get a reply. I need to get the bank rec finalised so I can run payroll
today.
I think all I have to do is untick the reconciled amounts, move the
money in August and then tick it off again at the end of this month.
All I want is confirmation from the call centre so I don't make a
mistake which will then need to be fixed.
Does someone out there know if this is the right thing to do - I am very
tempted to just do it so I can move on and finish.
I would appreciate anyone's opinion.
