VCAA is conducting a series of consultation forums on the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Technologies.

Consultation on Australian Curriculum: Technologies Draft Shape Paper – Design Creativity and Technology (Foundation – Year 12)
Design and technology educators (including food and technology, systems engineering, agricultural and horticultural studies teachers) are invited to contribute to the development of Victoria’s response to the draft Shape Paper for primary and secondary Australian Technologies curriculum by participating in a consultation program.
Three consultation sessions will be conducted.
A face-to-face forum for primary and secondary teachers and other interested stakeholders will be held at the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority on Tuesday 8 May from 4.30pm–7:00pm. ■Home Economics Victoria e-seminar on Tuesday 15 May from 5:00pm – 6:30pm; participants register by emailing office at hev.com.au<mailto:office at hev.com.au>
■Design and Technology Teachers Association of Victorian (DATTA Vic) 2012 Annual Conference on Friday 18 May from 9:00 – 10:30am at Northland College of the Arts and Technology, register at http://www.datta.vic.edu.au/conference/index.html

■Agricultural and Horticultural teachers wishing to contribute to a VAAHE response should contact Seleena Nichols at Padua College on 5976 0100 prior to May 4.
Participants in any of the above forums are urged to read the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Technologies prior to attending a consultation program.
