Vacancy - Co-ordinator, Visitor Programs (Melbourne Gardens)

 

*          Located at Melbourne Gardens Visitor Centre

*          Part-time, 3-days per week

*          7-month fixed term role, with possibility of extension

 

In this interesting role you will develop and deliver visitor programs,
interpretive programs and indigenous programs inline with the RBG Public
Programs Strategy for community engagement and tourism.   

 

Based at the Visitor Centre, your duties will include developing
innovative interpretive programs; providing high quality information and
customer service to our visitors; creating displays and signage
informing visitors about the RBG, flora and fauna and their cultural
meanings; and ensuring the effective delivery of interesting and
engaging visitor programs.

 

This 7-month, part-time fixed-term vacancy exists due to Anna Francis
returning from maternity leave on a part-time basis. Standard working
days for this role will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday and will
require work on some public holidays.
