<p class="MsoNormal">Experienced teachers of Units 3 and 4 Informatics and Software Development, particularly teaching within the current study design, would be a great addition to these panels. Also, with a number of experienced teachers of these studies in
 our schools offering Informatics one year and Software Development the next it would be a good opportunity to get involved developing examinations with the VCAA during your off years.

The Examination Panel Chair leads the panel preparing the examinations, marking guidelines and accompanying documentation. They work with the VCAA Examination Development Manager to coordinate panel meetings, work to VCAA timelines and oversee panel responses
 throughout the reviewing, development and production processes.<br>

The Panel Chair is responsible for ensuring that the examination is accurate, conforms to the examination specifications, and is consistent with the requirements of the study design (or equivalent). The Panel Chair will be expected to respond to any queries
 raised about the examination.<br>

 comments on the accuracy of content, including diagrams, wording of questions, level of demand, ability to discriminate across the ability range and weighting of different areas of the curriculum against the examination specifications.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 report on the examination, including comments on the clarity of questions, wording and instructions, the accuracy of content, level of difficulty, timing and space allocated for responses.<br>
