<p class="MsoNormal">A colleague of mine went to an in-service recently and came back with a list of apps that were suitable for his subject area (Health/PE). I thought it would be a great idea to share a list of apps (for all subject areas) that people are
using in their classroom. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">One of his more innovative suggestions was to add the QR code to any documentation – the students scan the code and it goes straight to the website/resource/youtube clip you want them to see. On the strength of this, I downloaded a QR
creator onto my phone and it works really well to engage the kids. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Another was Socrative – good for making quizzes that links to an Excel spreadsheet so you can see the results. I haven’t used this yet, but downloaded it yesterday. Does anyone else use Socrative? Or Quizlet? It would be great for people
to share their favourite school apps with everyone as together we learn. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I have attached the Health/PE list and also a great data visualisation showing what happens in “one internet minute”. Amazing, but a bit scary<o:p></o:p></p>
