I'd have to say that named cells & ranges are a really basic and important early skill. It makes spreadsheets SO much easier to read, and allows very meaningful vlookups. e.g. VLOOKUP(A4,taxtable,2)<br><br>I teach kids to use named ranges so they don't have to bother with those hideous $ and ! sheet/cell references!<br>
<br>BTW - I'd do VLOOKUP. Very valuable. And I'd do cell protection.<br><br>Macros?
