Philip Brophy's 10 Transforming Youths: hand-drawn for computer
10 Transforming Youths is a four-screen graphic animation that explores
ageing and transformation in a hard-edged pop style. While the work has
a slick animated finish, it in fact originates in hand-drawn images,
which have been converted to vectors and manipulated on-screen. In this
practical demonstration, Philip Brophy will guide a group through the
process of transforming a hand-drawing into a superflat graphic
animation, demonstrating how young artists can use the technology
behind the creation of 10 Transforming Youths in their own work.

___________________________________

Bridie Mackay
Senior Project Officer
Victorian Information Technology Teachers Association
T: +61 3 9495 6836
F: +61 3 9495 6834
E: bridie@vitta.org.au
Suite 209, 134-136 Cambridge Street
PO Box 1099
Collingwood, VIC, 3066
Australia

Bookmark VITTA's Professional Learning Program 2010
http://vitta.org.au/events/category/training-events
