<a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html">http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html</a>) is that it’s the full version of each Adobe program. The cloud capabilities seem aimed towards more Illustrator and Photoshop. It acts
like the normal traditional Photoshop, excepting that you can choose to export it to the cloud. So you’re not really being forced into buying more storage space; you can simply choose to move files around the way you normally do.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">The FAQ talks about how Adobe is tackling security issues, but hacking is always a risk with the web, no matter what you use. For me, personally, the benefits
of using cloud applications like Dropbox or iCloud outweigh the risk. But we’re really facing that risk no matter what we’re doing over the internet, even if it’s not traditionally ‘cloud’: I trust that my bank has measures in place to prevent intrusions,
I trust my school email servers are secure, I trust that no one hacks into my laptop (or physically steals it). The only truly safe computer is one that is turned off and locked in a safe. I do take precautions, however; for example, I make sure that I use
a separate password for each application, so that if one is hacked they don’t have access to all, and avoid uploading very sensitive information.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">I actually think the biggest risk with cloud computing is more that we might be locked into a particular product because it is difficult to move our files away
from it. Apple, I’m looking at you.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">Anyway, like I said, personally I’m after the software access and not the cloud. I’ll probably be using the software fairly traditionally. $300 a year for

month for students/teachers, with access to the entire Adobe collection. It’s a subscription service, so you don’t own the software to take away after your subscription ends, but it does mean that you always have the most up-to-date software. It can also
be installed twice – once on a MAC and once on a PC. There are cloud benefits too, but I’m mostly after the software and spreading the payments across the year instead of a lump sum.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
