system where we had the Certificate (II &III) Arts (Interactive Multimedia)
where the multimedia course becomes a strand of a broader certificate. This
would allow for other sub strands to be developed to cater for the development
of other VCE related courses hence we could see Cert II Creative Industries (Media:
Multimedia) alongside Cert II Creative Industries (Media: Radio)and so on. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

Media, because all the radio and screen courses come under the umbrella of
Creative Industries. There is a multimedia component to Media Studies. We might

wait until 2010 to introduce the new one, dated 2007.... but there is some
chance that it may have to be 2010.</span><span lang=EN-US><o:p></o:p></span></p>

Multimedia (Arts)), ie it may be possible that we offer only the Cert

If it were to become VET Media, we are going to lose students, maybe even
schools. Why offer two Media subjects? It seems a real pity to lose our
identity and unique status, the result for many of us in schools of years of
work building up a profile and a student following. </span><span lang=EN-US><o:p></o:p></span></p>
