have a couple of questions about the new training package setup for next yea=
r. I
have a new group of year 11’s starting into the ICA05 course doing the
Applications stream. In year 11, they will be doing the Certificate II, but=
it is
not attractive to many students because they don’t get the full credit=
in
year 11 if they do a VCE IT unit 1&2 also.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

to
offer the full Cert 3. that way, they get something complete and tangible at
the end of year 12, plus they get the bonus 10% on their ENTER score. <o:p><=

that students could do the majority of the hours from home and keep some sor=

of log book. For example, ICPMM321A, Capture a Digital Image. The way I was
thinking was that if we provide the theory just before the holidays, student=

could take photos, upload them, edit & crop them, bring them back to sch=
ool
and pass an assessable task. As long as they meet those criteria, and their=
parent’s
sign off on the hours completed, then can we sign them off as competent?<o:p=
></o:p></span></font></p>
