the units themselves, rather the way they are packaged - i.e. the three streams
of General, Software, and Network Admin are gone as separate qualifications, and
there is now one qualification with three streams within it for teachers to
choose the electives that suit their clients the best.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

how the VCAA will package it together to take into account the required
pre-requisites as well as determining which elective units we can offer to the
students. If someone in the VET unit is reading this thread, is there a timeline

comprehensively re-working the IT workbooks I publish to design the course more
as a project-based qualification rather than splitting the course into
individual units, which can be a little bit dry, however, there doesn't seem
much point working on a course outline until we know which units will have
to be delivered, and how the pre-requisites will be taken into
account.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

offering VET. The new training packing says that students wanting to do
Certificate III must have completed a number of prerequisites - a number of

Certificate III is run over two years at Years 11 and 12. The implication
to this is that student who want to complete Certificate III must make that
