While I can see some benefit in exposing stewnce and teachers to cutting
edge technology, maybe it's better to stick to the main stream (ie 'PC')
instead of going down a superficially more interesting narrow anabranch
where only a few people go. <br><br>
And speaking of cutting edge, you would be better off looking at what you
can do with a tablet PC rather than a Mac.<br><br>
Unless you are at an all Mac school/workplace, it is a real pain for tech
staff such as my good self to try to get them integrated into a Microsoft
or Novell environment, and just about impossible for the average teacher
to help a student who has one in a class of MS notebooks. You teachers
are very interested in uniformity in your students, so you should not try
to be otherwise yourself, boring though it might be.<br><br>
Just my hijack rant - not trying to rekindle a Mac/PC war.<br><br>
btw the school board here has recently officially outlawed Macs for the
reasons I touched on above. Out of 500 notebook using students there are
3 with Macs. <br><br>
