In 2014, the current five-point scale will be replaced with a 10-point scale. As a consequence, the assessment criteria for the School-assessed Tasks in each study have been amended. The assessment criteria will be applied using a rubric in the form of a table.

Information sessions to advise teachers of the change to the School-assessed Task assessment scale will be held in November and December. These sessions are designed to provide teachers with a clear understanding of how to apply the assessment criteria and descriptors to the new 10-point scale. These sessions will also include additional study specific information.
