<DIV><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>Hi Rob,</FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>I use Circuit Wizard.</FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>If you want to move components after converting a circuit to PCB and get rid of the the green lines (Unrouted Nets).</FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>go to <STRONG><EM>VIEW </EM></STRONG>menu</FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif"><FONT size=3>then <STRONG><EM>DISPLAY</EM></STRONG> </FONT></FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>then untick <STRONG><EM>UNROUTED NETS</EM></STRONG>.</FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3> </FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>You should now be able to move components without any problems. </FONT><BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>I do not know if this is any help, I get students to read and <SPAN style="DISPLAY: none; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; COLOR: #333333; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-hide: all; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">Interpret</SPAN> schematic diagrams and manually design PCB's.</FONT><BR><FONT face=Arial size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=3>There is a lot of learning that goes on with students doing this. </FONT><BR><FONT face=Arial size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=3>They use thinking processes that cover Vels and also the Designing of Circuits that will cover a lot of the Design aspects of VCE Systems Engineering.</FONT><BR><FONT face=Arial size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=3>If you can send me an after hours phone number, I can talk you through what I do with students using Circuit Wizard. (My typing is very slow)</FONT><BR><FONT face=Arial size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=3>Also if you want to change the size and shape of the pads on components from the Circuit Wizard gallery. (because Circuit Wizard gallery components tend to use smaller pads that do not suit some students skills)</FONT><BR><FONT face=Arial size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=3>Once you have the component artwork on the page <STRONG><EM>SELECT </EM></STRONG>the component and then right click mouse and select <EM><STRONG>PADS </STRONG></EM></FONT><FONT face=Arial size=3>from the menu and this will bring up a window to change shape and size of pads.</FONT><BR><FONT face=Arial size=3></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=3>I hope this has helped.
