I still love teaching the students, but with classes of students all in the mid to high 20's and all the extra corrections and Admin driven "busy work" there is zero work life balance.<br><br>Since my boys have all moved out of home, I have been saving up money and doing Crypto and Share Trading for the last couple of years in earnest, and I hope to be out of the game and semi retire early in the next couple of years. So working on my Masters in Artificial Intelligence and then Phd.<br><br>Hope you are ok yes it is becoming less popular and just about had enough of teaching with the behaviour of some students now and the increase in work load.<br><br>Don’t blame people leaving I used to love teaching and was happy to have knocked back a double degree in electrical engineering but lately things have changed and workload has increased.
