I have had a fortunate career, beginning my working life as a commerce teacher. But by the late 1970s my interests and work steered towards IT – actually my first ‘big’ IT project was to develop a database for the education department to facilitate statewide teacher transfers.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Curriculum has been my passion and I have been able to pursue this through a range of curriculum iterations – Frameworks, CSF, VELS, Australian Curriculum, Victorian Curriculum and VCE. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Thank you for making me feel part of a very special community – in some ways being a curriculum manager can be isolating as you work on your own, but belonging to a community has been very important to me and my work.
