you could equally argue that students don’t necessarily need to include loops or if statements etc. I’m certainly interpreting that all of the coding key skills are contained within this one key skill, and am encouraging my students to scope their project
accordingly.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Skill so it doesn’t <i>necessarily</i> have to be a part of the assessment, although I’d be encouraging my students to do it as part of basic data manipulation so they have had practical experience doing it, not just class theory. Where possible it’s best
to incorporate as many of the Key Knowledge points into every applicable task. With the nature of the SAT, it may be that project your students are does not require any form of sort. I’d be hoping for those students sake that sorts don’t appear on the Marking
Criteria for Unit 4 – if they do, it would disadvantage students whose task doesn’t sort and we should be steering them to do a sort now.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#1F497D;mso-fareast-language:EN-US">Given the breadth of options available to students in the SAT, I’d struggle to find any specific code requirements in the SAT, short
