<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I’m finding it difficult to identify exactly what a
<i>software tracking tool</i> is/does. When I google it I’m finding information about
<b>tool tracking software</b>, software that allows you to track your tools and equipment. When looking at Adrian Janson’s text book it mentions packet sniffers and packet tracers but it doesn’t explicitly refer to them as
<i>software tracking tools</i>, in discussions with my Network Administrator he felt that they were probably being referred to as tools used for
<i>auditing</i>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
