For example, in Unit 3, outcome 2, there is a specific list of methods of expressing software designs. This means that specific questions can be asked on the examination on any of the items listed, however, for school-based assessment you can include other methods such as flow charts. However I have a question on the Insight practice exam (Question 8 of the Case Study section – Not sure that I can post it here due to copyright) that gets students to complete a flowchart. It is worth 4 marks so by no means a small question.
