<i>adjectives</i>, e.g. the software must <b>be:</b> fast, reliable, accurate, secure.<br>

The functional requirements I treat as <i>verbs</i>, e.g. it should be able to <b>
do</b>: process, sort, print, calculate, display, store, search.<br>
<br>
In a way <i>both</i> of them are objectives in that the developers want to achieve them.<br>
