If you look at the amount of time the course spends on algorithms, programming, desk checking etc then this exam was only slightly over represented (if at all?). If you look at the previous nineteen years of exams in this subject you will see that the amount of programming in the course in the course has hardly reduced but the amount on the exam and the complexity of the programming on the exam has “changed”.<BR>

I believe there was an over-emphasis on algorithms. I was also troubled about some specific questions which I felt strayed from my reading of the study design. I used the Insight practice exam with my students as there ‘official’ practice exam during our ‘test week’ over the holidays. I have just finished marking the 33 pages!<BR>
<BR>
I would be interested in people feedback about it.<BR>
<BR>
I had some concerns about the number of questions associated with ‘programming’/algorithm etc.<BR>
<BR>
But have used that as practice material for them as this is always a section they have trouble with.<BR>
