<p class=MsoNormal>A couple of weeks ago, I emailed the lists about the Call
for Papers for the VITTA Conference. I wanted to give you all another
rev-up (while you are in the midst of exam marking and report writing –
as I am)! Also – we did unfortunately experience some small
glitches with the conference paper submission module, which meant that some of
the abstracts that were submitted were lost – so if you submitted your
abstract in the last few weeks, I might ask that you do it again to be sure we
have it.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>I want to encourage you all to get involved in what is
arguably the premier IT education conference in Australia – and a great showcase
of the fantastic things that VITTA members and others are doing at their
schools.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>We are continuing our support for Primary and Secondary
teachers, Multimedia teachers, Early Learning staff, Principals and ICT
Leaders, Technical staff, Tertiary Institutions as we have in previous years
– and our Conference continues to grow in ways which are very
exciting. We are offering a dedicated strand on music technology this
year which is shaping up as quite a dynamic and exciting area. A new VCE
study design is just around the corner, and there will be sessions that focus
on VCE IT studies. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The rewards in presenting are many – it is an
opportunity to network with colleagues, share ideas and resources, get some
feedback as well as add an item to your CV! So have a go and put in an
abstract today – by yourself or with a colleague – remember that
you also save yourself registration fees! All the best – and hope
