Hi everyone,

I have been approached by a friend of mine (a year 5/6 classroom teacher) who have asked if I know of any schools who are doing "marvelous things" in relation to the 'needs of a 21st century classroom', particularly literacy, focusing on multimodal
texts, including students creating
their own computer or online games; at both primary and junior secondary levels.

I told my friend that I know of 41 teachers with whom I'm working on the 3D Multimodal literacy project (!), but beyond that I'm more ignorant than I should be. So I'd be interested in hearing if YOU are doing 'marvelous things' or if you know of other classes who are.

... just an opportunity to share

Cheers,

--
Dr Paul Chandler
Research Fellow: Multimedia grammatical design and authoring pedagogy (Kahootz) project,
School of Education, University of New England
