I have been following the blog <a class="snap_shots" href="http://wwar1.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">WW1: Experiences of an English Soldier</a> for several months now. Following Armistice day, World War 1 is now officially over and Harry has survived the hostile action.<br>
<br>The
relative who has been posting the story and details, over 90 years
later has done a splendid job reassembling and annotating this
information. I have learned much. Please don't spoil the ending for me
.. I am following the blog to see if he can still safely make it back
home. :-)<br><br>We could probably do better with the memorial service run each year at 11 am on the 11th September. This year my students look confused
with the rushed announcement over the school PA system and again
distracted by some noisy senior students walking outside. I probably should have paid more attention to the lead up of the announcement.<br><br>I wonder how other schools handle the events around <a class="snap_shots" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armistice_Day">Armistice day</a>?<br>
