I look after about 500 student and 100 staff lappies here - and in spite

of a school policy to the contrary some recalcitrant students use

MacBooks. <br><br>

We have a Novell network etc, and as long as the Macs come to me with Win

XPSP2 on either Bootcamp or Parallels I have little trouble installing

what we need to get them on the network and all that implies. <br><br>

My impression is the Bootcamp ones take ages to get to the stage where

Windows starts to load (or to get to the OS choice when you hold down the

Option key), but from then on are ok. My only gripe is the lack of a

proper touch-pad - ie one on which taps works, and has a

right-click.<br><br>
