<font face="Calibri">Suz - tell your techs to download WAMP (Windows

Apache MySQL PHP) - installing this will turn your Windows moodle box

into a server and allow the created of MySQL databases etc.<br>

Otherwise they can do a fresh install of Ubuntu and choose to install

the server versions which has the above for Linux (LAMP) and therefore

have moodle running on a Linux box, which should easily integrate with

your Win</font><font face="Calibri">dows network<br>

If you can synch it with your LDAP it makes life easier - I cannot have

this as I have moodle installed on our Connexus web server (the best I

can do given the situation, I have no network access, not even on my

own laptop!!!) so I have organised self registration for kids and staff

and have limited the email address to edumail and BCS email addys<br>

have supportive techs (I'm jealous!!)<br>

In terms of of mydesktop and my classes not sure how you can integrate

them into moodle - apart from a link on the front page of moodle -

although speaking to the techs at your ISP might throw some light on

this.<br>

Also, we are running with sina and mydesktop/myclasses, I noticed a few of you have that as a setup thing on your moodle spaces, how are you feeling they work together? a hint as to how to best incorporate them together...well... would be great.
