authenticating on Windows 2003 AD. We didn't ecounter the problem that you
described. However, we pretty much followed this link <A

get things going. Hope this helps.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

with Moodle 1.9<BR></FONT><BR></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>Dear List,<BR><BR>I am setting up Moodle 1.9 on a new Ubuntu server
and am attempting to set up LDAP authentication with a Windows 2003 Active
Directory. Previous set ups at other sites have used Moodle 1.8 to authenticate
to Windows 2003 Active Directories with no problems. <BR><BR>When connecting
with LDAP authentication activated, I get the error:<BR>LDAP-module cannot
connect to any servers: Server: '<A class=moz-txt-link-freetext
href="ldap://10.135.192.17">ldap://10.xxx.192.17</A>' Connection: 'Resource id
#49' Bind result: ''<BR><BR>The usual trick of using Microsoft's ldp.exe tool to
test the DN settings and binding indicates the settings and bind user I am using
are correct.<BR><BR><BR>Just wondering if anyone on this list has set up Moodle
1.9 with Active Directory, and if any similar problems were experienced in doing
so. <BR><BR>If anyone is interested I am happy to provide further debug logs or
the current settings that are in use. I have tried to work through this one but
the usual troubleshooting techniques have not quite
helped.<BR><BR>Regards,<BR>Daniel<BR>_______________________________________________
