Here is nice cross post that some of you might find handy. It illustrates a different way to embed images in Moodle using Jing and <a href="http://screencast.com">screencast.com</a><br><br>Regards Roland<br><br>---------- Forwarded message ----------

<a href="http://screencast.com/" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">screencast.com</a> where you can manage the image (e.g., rename, delete). That page displays a link to the embeddable
<a title="Glossary of common terms: URL" href="http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/showentry.php?courseid=5&concept=URL" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">URL</a>. You can right click and copy link location from there. It's an extra step, but it's acceptable.

posts are really helpful when you're trying to explain a problem or a
solution. Forum allows you to attach a file of limited size, which you
use for an image. But a single attachment can't easily show more than
one screen capture, and it is always displayed at the end of your post.
You can embed multiple images using the Insert image button, but such
images must be stored somewhere on the Web, and not everyone can easily
do this. <br><br>Using Jing, you can embed as many images as you want anywhere in your forum post using the Insert image button (like <img src="http://content.screencast.com/file/image.png?parameters=f105d470-4620-41df-94a6-fc2dfef25348_836e2f87-e0bd-41da-bcc5-0adc5fec51b1_static_0_0_image.png" align="bottom" border="0" hspace="0" vspace="0">

) without having to first store them on the Web. Jing stores them for you, using space on <a href="http://screencast.com/" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">screencast.com</a>.<br><br>
FYI Jing is a <a title="Project" href="http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?d=13&rid=107" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">project</a> at TechSmith, the same company that produced SnagIt and Camtasia. The first 200MB of storage on
