At the top of your home page, add a link to a web page called [class list] then to this new page add a list of class members (my senior students add themselves .. smart lads ;-)

[Stephen Digby] - good progress
[Roland Gesthuizen] - talks too much
[Keith Richardson] - simply brilliant

Your students can then brag about their contributions on a page that you can navigate to and explore from.

On 19/12/06,

Best idea for helping students create life in the wiki is to add a contents
page to the first page of the wiki (the one that is created automatically).
This is made with each desired page title in square brackets e.g
.

Main Causes of Environmental Degradation
[Over population]
[Over consumption]
[Greed]
[etc etc

Each square bracket will then end with a ? Mark inviting stduents to click
and in doing so create a blank page for writing about this issue.

Hi Fellow Moodlers.
I am developing a course for next year's Yr 7 Science and came up with the
great idea of them creating a wiki on Environmental Damage.
The only problem is, I created it, gave it a front page, but for the life of
me cannot seem to breathe life into its corpse.
"What am I not doing?" I wonder.
Have any of you punters had sucess in setting up Wikis through Moodle?
Any suggestions greatfully received.
Cheers, Keith
