<p class="MsoNormal">The Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies is introducing an Associate Degree of Applied Information and Communication Technology. Associate degrees are a two-year qualification based on employability, hands-on skills and
practical outcomes.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:red">Associate Degree of Applied Information and Communication Technology </span><o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Associate Degree of Applied Information and Communication Technology is a two year program of ICT studies with a focus on software and web development. The course provides both employment or further study outcomes. The first three semesters
of the program are offered at the Wantirna campus, with the final semester at the Hawthorn campus. The program comprises studies in programming, databases, networking and project management with a particular focus on web and software development.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal">On successful completion of the first year of the Associate Degree of Applied Information and Communication Technology, students will be eligible to apply for credit transfer or to undertake an RPL assessment to gain all or part credit
towards the <a href="http://courses.swinburne.edu.au/courses/Diploma-of-Information-Technology-CICA50111/local"><span style="color:windowtext;text-decoration:none">Diploma of Information Technology</span></a> or similar VET diplomas.<o:p></o:p></p>
