<p>And then again, recovery disks sometimes dont work too! As I just found on my home box.</p>
<p>I also had just made a backup of all data on my Win7 Toshiba L650 lappy but whatever it is/was...its killed the startup routine and the box just wont kick in! (black screen and mouse arrow..THATS IT!)</p>
<p>Its now gone back to purchase location for a looky. I have a suspicion that some of the RAM may be 'sus' as this has been happening slowly over the past 2 weeks.</p>
<p>I run AVG, Malwarebytes and Spybot AND regularly run the CCleaner program. Plus do a defrag frequently.</p>
<p>Yep, me too..if its a virus..the *^%& got me!</p>

<p>I used the Win7 recovery link to make a recovery disk and also backed up all the data just the night before the box died! My guess is the shop boys will wipe the lot and reload the OS. I would've but couldnt get the recovery disks to work!(both the ones
I made OR the ones that came with the lappy when I got it). Didnt want to go too deep into fixing as its still under warranty and didnt want to void it.(discretion this time...)</p>
