monitoring, Clonezilla ghosting....ahhhh.....stuff that actually works!
Kent you actually have the opportunity to employ things we mere mortal
government chalkies can only dream about...lol as we plod along with
bloated proprietary flotsam. Why oh why are you paying licence fees!!??<br>

Free Of Stuffed Software=FOSS but Bill's definition is much more
politically and technically correct.<br>

<div>It will save schools spending thousands. The reality is that
there is no free lunch, the tax payer still pays. I guess that we
should be mindful and respectful of this. Statewide software purchases
could just as easily work by tagging the grants and allowing local
users to choose. <br>
<br>
Please, I don't want to rain on the party but I am forever suspicious
of when peter may be pinched to pay for paul. The economics of supply
and demand is quirky with software. Double the sales does not really
double the supply costs. It is more about market share and placement, a
battleground that should never eclipse good teaching and great
schooling.<br>

is only good for Lenovo laptops. Installing on other machines, notebook
or desktop, has resulted in configuration problems = unstable.</p>
