<p class=MsoNormal>Dear colleagues<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>There are several important notices regarding the
reaccredited study design in the July 2010 Bulletin . The messages relate to:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoListParagraph style='text-indent:-18.0pt;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'><![if !supportLists]><span
style='font-family:Symbol'><span style='mso-list:Ignore'>·<span

</span></span></span><![endif]>an erratum to IT applications, Unit 3, Area of
Study 2 on page 32 of the 2011-2014 study design<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoListParagraph style='text-indent:-18.0pt;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'><![if !supportLists]><span

Study 1<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoListParagraph style='text-indent:-18.0pt;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'><![if !supportLists]><span
style='font-family:Symbol'><span style='mso-list:Ignore'>·<span

</span></span></span><![endif]>Software tools and functions for both Units 3
and 4.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>All of these notices appear on pages 5 and 6 of the
Bulletin.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Just a reminder regarding the software tools and functions –
it is expected that students acquire <b>all</b> of the listed functions,
however, it is not an exhaustive list. For school-assessed coursework purposes,
students do not have to demonstrate their ability to use all of the functions, but
for examination purposes a ‘theoretical’ question could be asked on
any one of these functions.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>In the February Bulletin of 2011, an updated version of the key
knowledge and key skills for Area of study 2 will be published so you can just ‘paste’
this over page 32 of the study design (2011-2014).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Regards<o:p></o:p></p>
