It was a beautiful case study in change management. As predicted, the overwhelming majority of staff say "Why didn't we do it sooner?" Which is satisfying when you remember how the sky was going to fall in if we did.<div>The benefits to the whole school far out-weighed the disadvantages to a small number of (mainly practical based) subjects. The new timetable was adjusted to make allowances for these (double 72 min periods, but fewer). No timetable is going to be perfect, but we found this to satisfy the majority.</div><div><br><div>Cheers</div><div>Cameron<br><div><br><div><div>On 05/08/2009, at 9:16 AM, Litsa Tzelepis wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: auto; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; "><div bgcolor="#ffffff"><div><font face="Arial" size="2">Good morning,</font></div><div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div><div><font face="Arial" size="2">very sorry to ask on our IT list, but can anyone help me as to where to ask the following question:</font></div><div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div><div><font face="Arial" size="2"><strong>Does your school run a 4 period, 6 period or any other period timetable and what do people think about their school's TT structure?</strong></font></div><div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div><div><font face="Arial" size="2">My school is going through a process of timetable evaluation and I was hoping to help with some feedback for our leadership team.</font></div><div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div><div><font face="Arial" size="2">Thank-you kindly and sorry as I know everyone is very busy,</font></div><div><font face="Arial" size="2">Litsa xo</font></div><div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div><div><font face="Arial" size="2">---<br>Litsa Tzelepis<br>Mount St. Joseph Girl's College<br>Y10 Team Leader & Technology Convenor<br>(P)8398 2000 | (F)9398 3498</font></div>_______________________________________________<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br><a href="http://www.edulists.com.au">http://www.edulists.com.au<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></a>- FAQ, resources, subscribe, unsubscribe<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br>IT Applications Mailing List kindly supported by<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br><a href="http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/studies/infotech/itapplications3-4.html ">http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/studies/infotech/infotechindex.html<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></a>- Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority and<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br><a href="http://www.vitta.org.au">http://www.vitta.org.au<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></a>- VITTA Victorian Information Technology Teachers Association Inc</div></span></blockquote></div><br></div></div></div><p></p><p><b>Important - </b>This email and any attachments may be confidential.
