Usually the big red crosses arise because the file that the thumlbnail on the storyboard is pointing to has been moved or renamed or is no longer accessible for some other reason.<BR>
<BR>
WinMovieMaker recognises most movie types that the operating system does (im assuming XP or vista) so there schouldnt be a prob there<BR>

I've made it available to staff, but not kids.<BR>
<BR>
Somehow (don't ask me) staff were instructed how to save Youtube FLVs<BR>
and play them with VLC player so they could show them to kids without<BR>
the kids needing Youtube access here at school - too much timewasting<BR>
and bandwidth abuse.<BR>
