<div dir="ltr">Mark is right .. there are better ways than how Word handles mail merging. One application I know of works by just dragging a field out of the database and dropping it onto the desired location in a word processor (*taps forehead*) is this sensible for noobs or what? <br>

Word's mail merge has not improved in 20 years. Wordperfect 5 trounced it soundly in 1981, and Microsoft has made NO effort to improve its execrable merge technology since then.<br>

Run, screaming, at the first sight of Word mail merge. Use Filemaker and its merge codes instead.<br>
