development for teachers, one of the things I am working on at the moment is a
40-odd hour online professional development course which will be accredited by
the Victorian Registrations and Qualifications Authority. While it won’t
be I.T.-related, it will be able to be used for PD purposes and will also hopefully
assist with some of the serious issues such as stress, well-being, drugs and
alcohol and critical incidents in schools (from the viewpoint of both teachers
and students). We are looking to establish a pilot program mid to late 2008 for
both on-line as well as face to face delivery of this professional development
