<DIV>just had an external candidate turn down a Leading Teacher
posn, </DIV>
<DIV>anothert LT position no appointment, </DIV>
<DIV>another internal teacher still awaiting results of interviews for regional
posn, </DIV>
<DIV>another just told us he won't be returning after LSL semester 1 next
year, </DIV>
<DIV>4 periods Maths, 4 p Sci, 8 p PE uncovered (and no appropriate staff
available), </DIV>
<DIV>two textiles classes in the same room at same time for three
periods, </DIV>
<DIV>staffing figures into deficit so boss does not want to employ anyone
else </DIV>

<DIV>... .. thus the variables continue to fluctuate .... </DIV>

<DIV>but I have! to have a new timetable up and running for the next
two weeks starting Monday - HeadStart program .... complications for
this include</DIV>

<DIV>one Sec staff member finished today (retired) so not available next
week</DIV>
<DIV>Primary classes using Sec staff (ICT, PE) now clash with new Headstart
timetable (rooms and staff) so Prim staff lose APT (not happy)</DIV>
<DIV>one Prim staff member still away sick (seven weeks)</DIV>
<DIV>one Sec staff member medical treatment all next week</DIV>
<DIV>another Sec staff having wisdom teeth out - at least two days
away </DIV>
<DIV>two of 2008 Year 12 teachers on LSL</DIV>
