And on a field trip to Penhalurick's hardware store many moons ago when they were amongst the first to have fully computerised their store's operation, Mr P was so confident in his system that he went over to the power switch board, warned those on check out that 'this was a drill' and pressed a big red button. The whole store went off. 45 seconds later the emergency generator had cut in, and about a minute later all the checkouts were operational again....very impressive!
