conducted a 2-hour workshop on the place of ICT in the Essential Learning
Standards (and its role in whole school planning). I prepared a PowerPoint for
this session, which is now available on the VITTA website. I am just offering
this in light of the recent discussion about the place of ICT in the Years 7 –
10 curriculum with the Standards. Please note that the accompanying workshop
activities identified on some of the slides are not available (only to workshop
