Christmas may we all collectively thank you for your listization of us
Some years ago, Kevork, I made a suggestion that for a variety of
reasons was not taken up, and I would like to make it again. I have my
reasons for this suggestion that crystallized for me during the long
lunch periods at this year's VITTA Conference.
Each day I looked across the sea of faces, totally frustrated because
here were many friends-on-list but I was not able to RECOGNIZE THEIR
FACES because all we ever see is their names. I would have loved to
drift from list-friend to list-friend, picking up comments and
associations, and further enriching our shared experiences for the
following year.
My suggestion? <<Adjust the email list setup so that a tiny photograph
of the sender shows beside their name each time they send replies etc to
the list.>>
So there you have it. What do others think?
Merry Christmas to you all!
> > I personally do not like it because having to
'fake-it' rarely leaves me
> > or the kids satisfied - it seems like science

> > > >> It's great to hear this healthy

> > Outcome
> > > 2.
> > > >> I just want to stress that when
students independently develop
> > their
> > > >> prototype website, it is OK
just to simulate practices/tools rather
> > > than
> > > >> creating/using them. The main
intention of this part of the outcome
> > > is
> > > >> for students to demonstrate
their understanding of tools/facilities
> > > >> available to support knowledge
sharing and collaborative
> > > >> decision-making.
> > > >>
> > > >> So, when completing this
assessment task, students would design the
> > > >> website, create the homepage
and create/simulate that part of the
> > > >> website that supports knowledge
sharing and collaborative decision
> > > >> making. Then, comes the theory
