I used SMP last year (it’s also very expensive for a site licence) and found
it a nightmare to run on a network. We’ve got version 5 and still having
probs.<br>
I’d wish I’d known about Monkey Jam before I purchased SMP, as I
gather it does the same (and it’s Shareware).<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Flash tasks (I may get a time to publish some of mine altho’ most come
from a LearnIT in-service), and whilst that’s underway buy your cameras,
download MonkeyJam and maybe Audacity, and then you might use the latter two
together, or maybe all three, MJ, Audacity, Flash.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

I'm helping put together a 1:1 Laptop Learning Programme for Year 9 students
here at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Ringwood</st1:City> <st1:State
w:st="on">SC.</st1:State></st1:place><br>
At present we have a Network Usage Policy that covers such things as obscene
material and cyberbullying. Unfortunately much of the guts of the policy is
buried in policy speak and doesn't translate well to student language.<br>
<br>
My question is, what other approaches have other schools used to a) prevent the
circulation of obscene material on student laptops and b) clearly outline the
consequences for going against school policy ?<br>
